ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLIGIST

The Section of Digestive Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine is recruiting faculty positions related to clinical/research gastroenterology and hepatology specialties including Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, general gastroenterology, hepatology, liver research, advanced endoscopy, and esophageal and foregut disorders at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Individuals must be committed to the practice of gastroenterology or hepatology in a full-time academic setting. Respective to the position, individuals may be intimately involved with the clinical fellowship program, encouraged to develop a clinical/laboratory research program, will be intimately involved with the training of clinical/research fellows and may have an opportunity to participate in translational research. Candidates must hold a Medical Degree and be board eligible in gastroenterology/hepatology. Candidates must also have excellent clinical/research training: post-fellowship experience is preferred. Competitive salary and academic rank will be determined by previous experience.
