Adult Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy

The Coleman Foundation Comprehensive Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Center at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Board Certified Hematologist and/or Medical Oncologist to join its adult stem cell transplantation and cell therapy (SCT-CT) program. Qualified candidates should have excellent clinical SCT training and/or significant clinical experience in the field of SCT-CT with strong interest in clinical/translational research. Besides clinical responsibilities as an attending physician at Rush University Medical Center, applicants are expected to participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellows and initiate and conduct innovative clinical trials/translational research related to SCT-CT.

Our transplant program performs over 100 transplants every year with significant proportion being matched related and unrelated as well as haploidentical allogeneic SCT. The program is fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), and is a member of the Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN). This recruitment is part of a key strategic growth initiative under a new leadership in a multidisciplinary advanced program with state of the art technology, outstanding faculty and innovative research in clinical trials.
