The Department of Dermatology at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks a full-time clinical faculty member to join the Division. Duties include dermatology clinical service (medical and surgical/procedural dermatology), teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, as well as active research.

 Our ideal candidate has an enthusiastic approach to providing care in busy clinical setting, demonstrates interpersonal skills to work in concert with a well-established group, and embraces a culture that places both patient and family in the highest regard.  Desire to teach residents, students, nurses and fellows is required, as we work with trainees over the medical continuum. Candidates with prior clinical experience as well as a history of successful research, grants and publications are encouraged to apply for this position.

The Division provides clinical coverage in the Outpatient Care Center and inpatient consults within the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, which is the primary teaching hospital of UIC.  Call coverage is approximately 1/5.

Requirements

Applicant must be a graduate from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program and must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Dermatology. Rank, track, tenure, and salary are negotiable, commensurate with training and experience.
