Summary of Opportunity

The Department of Dermatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking academically oriented Dermatologists in all sub specialty areas to join its growing faculty.  Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

With the recruitment of a new Chair, the Department of Dermatology is positioning itself to be recognized as a leading academic dermatology department whose mission is to provide outstanding dermatological care for patients, innovative training for future practitioners and advances in research concerning the mechanisms and treatment of skin diseases.

The new faculty member’s clinical focus will be to aggressively build and grow a robust clinical practice in general dermatology and or their subspecialty area.  The ideal candidate will possess superior communications skills, commitment towards our multicultural underserved patient population and excellence in the areas of teaching, patient care, and research.  The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment and have a substantial interest in helping to build the Department of Dermatology.

Qualified candidates will be BE/BC by the American Board of Dermatology and must have either completed or are in the process of completing an accredited fellowship in their subspecialty area.  Candidates must also be in possession of or eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.
