LTC RN needed in Damariscotta, ME - Long Term Care Registered Nurses generally work in healthcare facilities, convalescent homes, hospice or assisted-living centers. Long Term Care RNs must be comfortable assessing patients, writing patient care plans, giving guidance and schedule treatments for the patients. A Long Term Care Registered Nurse generally oversees the work of a LPN.
Responsibilities
As a Long Term Care Nurse your duties include:

Checking the condition and the patient's vital signs.
Documenting records for the facility.
Carrying out treatment plans.
Supervising aides and assistants as they assist patient's general needs.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Long Term Care RN within the past two years.

Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
