The university is part of the Touro College and University System and is located on the northern tip of San Francisco Bay in Vallejo, California.     POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Residency Associate Program Director of Internal Medicine must assist the Residency Program Director, Internal Medicine administer and maintain an educational program conducive to educating the residents in each of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) competency areas

    QUALIFICATIONS: is the Education, Training and/or related experience needed by the person to perform the job
  • Able to meet all requirements of the ACGME for an Internal Medicine Associate Program Director
  • Requisite specialty expertise and documented educational and administrative experience acceptable to the Review Committee
    o Prior participation as an active faculty member in an AOA or ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program
    o Graduate medical education administrative experience preferred
  • Current certification in the specialty by the American Osteopathic Association or American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • A documented ability to provide an environment for research and scholarly activity
  • Current California Medical Licensure
  • Qualify for appropriate medical staff appointment
