JOB TITLE: Manager, Clinic


EMPLOYER: Pathways Behavioral Consulting 


REPORTS TO: Clinic Director 




SUMMARY: Oversees client programs and progress and staff assigned to clinic locations and overall execution in the company. Clinic Manager handles the day-to-day operations in compliance with established policies and procedures. Participates in developing, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures. Ensures employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff. Prepares reports and audits current procedures to monitor efficiency of the Clinic.



  • Trains and supervises clinical staff to ensure the highest quality services 

  • Works closely with the Clinic Director to ensure optimal staff performance and client program effectiveness

  • Oversees supervisors and RBTs at clinic site to ensure productivity and evaluate program fidelity

  • Provides support to supervisors and therapists in home/community and school settings that are assigned to clinic location 

  • Motivates staff in a positive way to produce positive behavioral change

  • Produces a culture of clinical excellence 

  • Oversees scheduling for clinic staff and clinic assignments as well as staff or client cancellations 

  • Conduct skill acquisition and behavioral assessments, and oversees behavior assessments

  • Develop behavior intervention/skill acquisition programs that are research based and timely for client progress

  • Provides additional support to clients as needed for effective program implementation 

  • Supports and monitors projects supported by lead therapists, ensures fidelity and analyzes data 

  • Conducts and support training programs for staff and analyzes training effectiveness 

  • Assists in the recruitment, hiring and retention processes for employees; develop and conduct onboarding training of newly hired employees

  • Complete performance evaluations and develop and monitor performance plans for clinical staff

  • Ensures staff is adhering to and abiding by all company policies and procedures and policies set forth by BACB

  • Engages in effective case management to include scheduling and monitoring weekly minimum/maximum billing requirements and ensures all billable time and utilization requirements are met

  • Manages a case load & billable hour requirements

  • Effectively communicates needs of clients or staff with intended parties and sees through to conclusion and problem solves issues that arise

  • Provide direct parent training to clients receiving services on regularly scheduled intervals and maximizes parent training hours 

  • Develop and provide training and workshops to parents and community partners  

  • Collaborates with all members of clients team and family, ensuring caregiver satisfaction

  • Supports the mission of the organization and all related initiatives 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management 



  • Board certification and in good standing as a BCBA or BCBA-D

  • Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience including implementation of behavior-reduction plans and skill-building programming for individuals with developmental disorders 

  • Experience in clinic, home, and school based settings 

  • Demonstration of leadership and management experiences

  • Positive team player and energetic professional

  • Self-disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Demonstrates creativity, flexibility and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve

  • Strong written communication and pays close attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively under varying conditions 

  • Strictly adheres to HIPAA rules and regulations

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadline

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven team player

  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating staff members

  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
