The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto and the University Health Network Division of Respirology, in conjunction with the Toronto Lung Transplant Program and the Multi Organ Transplant Program, is seeking to recruit a Clinician-Quality Improver. The successful applicant should be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. Effective start date of appointment is August 1, 2018, or as mutually agreed upon.

The successful candidate should have appropriate experience and track record or postgraduate training in quality improvement, such that they will be able to develop and maintain programmatic and innovative quality improvement initiatives. The focus of these programs should align with the priorities of the Toronto Lung Transplant Program, UHN and the division of respirology.

The successful applicant must hold MD and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation) and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario.

Academic rank, salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Compensation will also depend upon the amount of clinical work performed but will be in the usual range for an experienced Respirologist in the Province of Ontario at approximately $225,000 to $250,000 per year.
