Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintains a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations, industry standards or changes, and policies as they affect Keystone through routine review of resources, e.g. Federal Register, Multiple-state manuals, bulletins, notices, etc.

  • Assist in the implementing the Compliance auditing and monitoring plan

  • Assists in the remediation of any compliance hotline calls

  • Assists in multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the elements of a compliance program

  • Provides high level, highly confidential administrative support to the functions of the Compliance and Certified Investigations Departments

  • Assure that files, records and information are maintained in such a manner as to preserve confidentiality

  • Drafts, prepares, and manages correspondence, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc., as appropriate

  • Maintains database and filing system for all compliance referrals

  • Maintains files and listing for all KHS Business Associate agreements

  • Develops and maintains appropriate distribution lists for information, bulletins and guidelines

  • Works within the corporate compliance team on Annual Compliance Week activities and other special projects

  • Organize, implement, coordinate and monitor completion of annual system-wide Disclosures for the Corporate Integrity Department

  • Support Certified Investigator Director in carrying out quarterly Investigation Peer Review meetings including scheduling participants, preparing materials, etc.



 


Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred.  Working knowledge of Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services, HIPAA, and other federal and state regulatory requirements preferred.  Previous Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, operations, auditing, healthcare industry and fraud and abuse law experience preferred.   Must have a valid PA Drivers License and daily use of a privately owned vehicle
