Start Date: July 1, 2019

The Department of Dermatology, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, is pleased to announce a clinical fellowship in Contact Dermatitis and Occupational Dermatology for the 2019-2020 academic year. The focus of this fellowship is to develop academic dermatologists who will become leaders in the field of contact dermatitis. The fellow will learn how to diagnose and manage patients with all forms of contact dermatitis, including irritant, allergic and occupational dermatitis. They will develop expertise in deciding which allergen series to test, learn how to interpret patch test results based on each patient’s history and physical exam, and will gain experience designing avoidance strategies giving the greatest chance of curing patients of longstanding dermatitis. Fellows will have additional opportunities to rotate in the following clinics: Allergy/Immunology, Occupational Medicine, Dermatopathology, Oral Medicine, genital dermatology, phototherapy, complex medical dermatology and T cell research laboratories. The fellow will have protected time weekly for the pursuit of a mentored academic project of their choice.

The applicant must be board-eligible or board certified in dermatology. Salary will be commensurate with PGY level.

Interested applicants should send a letter describing their background and interest in the program, curriculum vitae and the names of two references to: Pamela Scheinman, M.D. and email to bwhderm@partners.org. Application deadline: September 7, 2018.
