As a member of the Technology Services Development team, you will be an integral part of our product development process. Tasks include continued development of our existing products as well as greenfield development projects. We are looking for an individual who thrives on answering questions such as why not and how. You will be learning all of the time so a can-do attitude of I may not know now, but I will learn is a must. We are a close knit team who likes to chat and enjoy our work at the same time respecting everyones focus time. We primarily work remote however we do get together for project meetings, general face time, and team building projects. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

Primary Function

A Developer will operate within the Technology Services (TS) team and contribute to the development of new projects and continuous development of existing projects. Project are both targeted to HCLs customers as well as internal projects. The developer will be expected to use the best tools and languages to solve each problem; as such, the developer must have a firm understanding of development principles and be well versed in a variety of programming languages.

Responsibilities

Full lifecycle application development

Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages

Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis

Software modeling and testing

Assist other TS staff as needed to support department and company goals

Other duties and functions as required

Requirements

Development of web sites and services leveraging the VILT stack (Vue,js, Inertia,js, Laraval, and Tailwind CSS) targeted to Health Care Logistics customers

Comfortable working with version control systems, GIT

Possess a bachelors or higher degree in a technology related field

Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Ability to lift 50lbs

Ability to move around unaided (tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, pushing and pulling)

Hand and finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer keyboard

Have a valid driver's license
