JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent will plan, implement, and evaluate a variety of health communication and marketing activities designed to impact positive health outcomes. The position enhances program effectiveness by applying relevant social marketing practices and health communication theories.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Minimum Qualifications: Applying FOR GS-11: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience administering digital and social media channels; drafting digital media health content and providing digital media project support. OR; Have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; or 3 (three) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. OR; Have a combination of the above experience and education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. Applying FOR GS-12: Applicants have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience managing digital and social media channels and projects; developing digital and social media and communication plans; and writing and editing digital media health content. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
