The Healthcare Systems and Data Analytics Director for AllerVie Health must prove to be knowledgeable and experienced in project management techniques related to EMR implementation, RCM solutions implementation and ongoing data analytics. This position is responsible for key client deliverables including budget, risk, and milestone management for each project. The Healthcare Systems and Data Analytics Director must demonstrate leadership while keeping a collaborative attitude and fostering excellent communication within the team and across multi-site clinic locations. This position must be able to combine a strong understanding of clinic protocol specifics with technology to ensure successful EMR and RCM implementation while maintaining outstanding clinical patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsivities

  • Responsible for all EMR, RCM and branding integration project management for implementation, daily issue resolution, troubleshooting, and support of the various systems and other system upgrades.
  • Oversee the project management and scheduling of the deployments in multiple simultaneous locations across the United States.
  • Provide on-site, Go-Live Support to providers and clinic staff at clinic locations across the country. Ensure all deployment milestones and SOP processes are being met with little patient care operations during the launch window.
  • Work with physicians, clinical and non-clinical staff to improve their knowledge of the EMR system, improve documentation, and maximize the efficiency of the system.
  • Manages risk tracking and SWOT process for each scheduled implementation project.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and participate in their resolution with the highest customer satisfaction for each clinic location.
  • Oversee and manage ongoing end-user training and support of existing workflows, along with all upgrades, new releases, enhancements, and system downtime communications.
  • Promote system security, patient confidentiality and help ensure compliance standards are upheld.
  • Monitor all aspects of the deployment and provide management updates on a frequent basis while managing risk tracking process for each scheduled implementation project.
  • Provides an in-depth post implementation action plan for operations follow-up.
  • Supervise assigned EMR project team.
  • Develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and administrative reporting.
  • Interacts with vendors on behalf of the clinic to review or solve unique workflow processes.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Assists operations teams with accessing and pulling data for clinical operational analysis.
  • Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Information Systems, or Healthcare related field, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience supporting large multi-state healthcare systems
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience implementing electronic health record systems (NexGen experience preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in managing application systems support teams in a distributed computing environment with an emphasis on project management

  • The employee has access to sections of the medical record.
  • Patient information is to be held strictly confidential. Any employee who uses or discloses patient information for any purpose not related to the performance of employee’s job responsibilities or essential functions will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination.
  • Any patient information obtained while an employee of this medical practice shall remain confidential except to the extent allowed in this policy and procedure and as part of the employee’s job description.
  • Employee will discuss any questions or concerns they have with the Privacy Officer. Any employee, who is not sure whether certain patient information should be released, will not release the information until discussing the circumstances with the Privacy Officer.
  • In the event it is discovered patient information may have been used or disclosed inappropriately, every employee is expective to notify the Privacy Officer. Immediate and proper steps may be taken to mitigate/minimize any HIPAA adverse effect on the patient.
  • Employee will not face retribution solely for reporting suspected misuse or inappropriate disclosure of patient information to the Privacy Officer. Should an employee have concerns about reporting possible misuse or inappropriate disclosure to the Privacy Officer, he/she may make the report to Human Resources.
  • Employee will be trained at appropriate intervals on, and reminded of, the importance of privacy and security and his/her responsibilities under the policies and procedures related to privacy and security.
