Responsible for supporting all Human Resource functions andsupporting the client groups assigned on a daily basis.  Answers general Human resources relatedquestions regarding policies, procedures, benefits and employee recordinformation.

• Provide HRSupport to client group

• Provideand promote positive employee interactions, effectively respond to employeeinquiries, and be actively involved in resolving issues and concerns.

• Supportshiring needs and staffing including reviewing applications, schedulinginterviews, assessing skills, and conducting pre-employment screenings percompany employment guidelines.

• Conductnew hire Orientation classes and ensure all required training is completed fornew hire and existing employees.

• Manage andupdate payroll processes including Workday, time off tracking, time cards, andpayroll documentation.

• Manage andmaintain client specific licensing and clearance requests.

• Manage andmaintain client specific tokens and badges.

• Processesand manages internal change requests.  

• Providesupport to local HR manager, and process corrective actions, disciplinaryfunctions, and terminations ensuring consistency and adherence with companypolicy.

• Mayprovide research and documentation support to HR Management for employeerelations.

• Ensure alltraining expectations are being met and continually monitor trainingcompliance.

• Assist inlocal recognition activities.

• Assist inday to day and special events activities

• Support andparticipate in Corporate HR initiative and projects, and collaborateeffectively across the HR department

• Performsrole and delivers excellent results with a positive and professional attitudeand leads by example

• Performother incidentals and related duties as required and assigned; including, butnot limited to general office clerical administrative duties which may includesupply ordering, occasional front desk, greeting visitors.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to a changing and fast pace environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including good phone etiquette.
• Highly dependable with great attendance.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good computer skills and intermediate proficiency using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).

Physical Requirements
Job is in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level, sits at a desk during scheduled shift, uses office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
* Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; walks/moves around buildings as needed to perform job; reach as needed to use office equipment.
* Consistently viewing a computer screen, typing, using a keyboard and mouse.
* Uses phone; head-set can be provided.
* Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment providing clerical support.
• Experience providing support in Human Resources required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel, Word.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.

Other Requirements

* Must submit to and pass background check and drug screen.

* Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues.

* Must not have any current defaulted student loans.

* Must be able to pass a criminal background check (must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors).

* Performant is a government contractor (certain client assignments for this position may require additional background and/or clearances).
