What is the role?



You will be a key member of the TeleSpecialists operations team, managing the Rapid Response Center team in 24/7/365 operations as outlined by company policy and procedures. Working in direct contact with the RRC Director, physicians and customers,you will provide highly reliable service dispatch and management throughout the patient consultation process. The RRC Manager role has three main areas of responsibility: Daily Operations/Process Improvement, Training & QA of RRC, and Mastery of RRC Technology. You must have the ability to triage neurology consults and dispatch based on acuity. Leading call center coordination, you will develop and deliver operations that maintain high standards of quality and financial performance to achieve effective and efficient service delivery for patients, health care systems and providers.



What you have to achieve:



Within your first month you will have completed the knowledge & skills portions of TeleSpecialists RRC training.

By the end of month three (3) you will have established a training schedule for training additional RRC staff, assisted with a creation of staff schedules, and maintained a checklist of knowledge and skills training for all team members.

Youll focus on maintaining consistent RRC practices, mastering the technical aspects of process, communication and documentation.

Youll be well-versed in and will apply proper operational workflows for intake of consult requests and dispatch of provider services.



What we expect:



  • You must have the ability to triage neurology consults and dispatch based on acuity.

  • Youll be obsessed with highly reliable operations and delivering the perfect call center experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitates the integration and management of all daily functions to ensure optimal patient access and customer satisfaction. Provides management for the planning and day-to-day operations, accountable for standardization of processes and procedures.

  • Manages the RRC team, provides guidance and structure to work duties, encourages and supports skills development.

  • Currently this position is designated for in-office work at company HQ. You will be responsible for periodically rotating through all shifts, including weekends.

  • You have real experience serving in direct-care or telehealth services.

  • If youre a Registered Nurse with Neuro, ER or critical care experience, then youre qualified for this role.

  • Experience of 5+ years in the field preferred but will consider those with 3+ years with knowledge specific to telemedicine, stroke coordination and/or transfer center/ call center experience.

  • You have experience and comfort with health information technology and team management.

  • You are biased toward action

  • You will have a strong ability to create and manage a cohesive team.

  • Be creative: youll come up with new ideas based on your broad understanding of call center management

  • You have experience and comfort negotiating internal/external relationships to get work done.

  • You ask hard questions while creating solutions as we build services and grow our customer network. If you dont know the answer you say so, knowing when to ask for help and when to quickly escalate issues from awareness to resolution.

  • You have worked in healthcare environments and have interest in access to services in urban and rural environments. You understand the importance of quality and efficiency in acute care services and care deeply about improving patient outcomes.
