The Radiation Oncology Department at MSK treats more than 10,000 New Patients each year. We use all forms of radiation including orthovoltage, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, brachytherapy, proton therapy, intraoperative radiation and will be introducing an MRI-LINAC next year. We are seeking a Service Chief to join our Manhattan Service.

In this role, you will work with the Vice-Chairman, Chairman, and Senior Director in leading clinical practice across our two Manhattan campuses. The Manhattan Service has approximately 35 attending radiation oncologists and continues to grow. This leadership position is a critical part of the clinical and research programs of the department. The clinical practice will be in the disease site of choice of the candidate. This position is 20% administrative, 60% clinical and 20% research. 5 years progressive Radiation Oncology practice experience is strongly preferred. M.D., completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology; and Board certification is required. Applicants must also be able to obtain licensure in New York and New Jersey without restriction.
